Our Story

Built on the belief that
good food can't be rushed

Line Hill Farm started as a backyard kitchen and a conviction: that the bread on your table should taste like something someone actually cared about making. That hasn't changed.

We bake from our kitchen on Middleton Road in New Durham, working with a sourdough starter that's been alive for years and flour milled right here in New England. Everything that comes out of our oven is made by hand, in small quantities, and sold the same day.

Our grocery shelves carry the same standard — locally made cheeses, raw honey from nearby apiaries, seasonal preserves, and pantry staples we'd use in our own kitchen. If we wouldn't eat it, we don't sell it.

How We Work

The process
is the product

Every step is intentional. Every hour is accounted for.

01

Source

Organic flour from New England mills. Local dairy, honey, and produce from farms we know by name.

02

Mix & Fold

Hand-mixed, hand-folded. No industrial mixers, no shortcuts. We feel the dough and respond to what it needs.

03

Ferment

Eighteen to thirty-six hours in the cold. This is where flavor develops — and there is no substitute for time.

04

Bake & Serve

Stone hearth, wood-fired oven. Baked through the night, available fresh from 7 AM until we sell out.
